Skim Latihan 1Malaysia (SL1M) adalah idea YAB Perdana Menteri yang melibatkan syarikat berkaitan Kerajaan (GLC) menjalankan program secara Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) bagi meningkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan dengan menggunakan institusi latihan sedia ada.

Majlis Pelancaran Program SL1M telah disempurnakan oleh YAB Perdana Menteri pada 1 Jun 2011 di Pejabat Perdana Menteri.

Pada permulaan sebanyak 25 GLC dan Bank Negara Malaysia menjayakan program ini serta akan melibatkan lebih banyak GLC dan syarikat swasta pada masa akan hadapan.

Untuk memohon sila isi borang permohonan (application form) yang disediakan oleh GLC secara talian (online register) dilaman web organisasi yang terlibat.

Responsibilities: To undergo 1-month classroom/residential training and a subsequent 11-month On-Job Training at the respective divisions within Sime Darby.

Requirements:  Malaysian aged 27 years old and below, Degree holder who has been unemployed for at least 6 months since graduation, CGPA of 2.50 and above

1. Skim Latihan 1Malaysia

In echoing the Government's call to GLCs to assist in increasing the marketability and employability of our graduates, CIMB Group is participating in the Skim Latihan 1Malaysia (“SL1M”) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This programme is aimed at providing soft-skills and on-the-job training to Malaysian graduates, especially those from under-privileged families. At the end of the programme, these graduates would have developed personal mastery, learned the best work habits and gained work experience in the corporate world through accelerated work-based learning.

This 4-months' structured training programme comprises:                     
1-month's training with key focus on thinking and communication skills as well as work habits; and
3-months' on-the-job attachment with business units to provide candidates with an all-rounded, hands-on work experience.

Candidates will be paid a monthly allowance of RM700.00 during the duration of the 4-months’ programme. Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates with excellent performance may be considered for employment opportunity with CIMB Bank.

Eligibility

Malaysian graduates in any discipline with academic results of CGPA of 3.0 and above; and/or
Combined household income of not more than RM2,500 per month (documentary evidence would be required).

MIMOS AcT stands for MIMOS Acceleration Talent Programme. This programme is designed to support the government initiatives “Skim Latihan 1Malaysia Programme”. The objectives of this programme are to increase fresh graduates’ employability as well as to curb unemployment among graduates who are unemployed after 1 year of graduation.

The Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science / Information Technology, Management Information System, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical / Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
2. With minimum CGPA of 2.5
3. Able to communicate in “Basic English”
4. Fresh Graduates or are still unemployed after 6 months of graduation
5. Or working graduates who are not employed according to their qualifications.
6. Applicant must be willing to be attached either in Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur or in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kulim, Kedah.
7. Number of apprentices required : 20

Apprenticeship Structure:
Apprentices will be trained in specific domain areas i.e. Product Quality & Reliability Engineering where they will be nurtured to become versatile Test Engineer or Software Development Engineer.

The structure of the programme is as follows:-
1. Soft-skill Training : 2 months
2. On-the Job Training & Technical Training : 6 months
The apprentices will be trained in 8 technical domains in Product Quality & Reliability Engineering.

1. Skim Latihan 1Malaysia - PETRONAS

SL1M-GEES-PETRONAS or Graduate Employability Enhancement Scheme is a soft skills training programme developed in collaboration between PETRONAS and Malaysia Government to enhance marketability and employability of Malaysian Graduate under Skim Latihan 1 Malaysian initiative.

OBJECTIVES:

To enhance employment marketability among unemployed graduates and facilitate transition from the academic world to the business world by:
  • focusing on acquiring critical soft-skills
  • providing experiential learning in developing positive personal attributes in the workplace

The overall programme will focus on building and enhancing soft-skills. This enhancement programme will be for eight (8) months, comprising of:
  • a two (2) month classroom-based training where participants will acquaint themselves with the necessary soft-skils. Food and accommodation will be provided together with an allowance of RM500 per month.
  • a six (6) month on-job-training (OJT); with attachment at selected PETRONAS locations to apply hands-on training on soft-skills in an actual working environment. An allowance of RM1000 a month will be provided to the participants during this period.

INTAKE:

July Intake
This intake will commence from July to February each year. Application period starts on 1st May and ends 7th June each year.

January Intake
This intake will commence from January to August each year. Application period starts on 1st November and ends 30th November each year.

The online application will not be available from 8th June to 31st October and from 1st December to 30th April each year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Malaysian citizen and not more than 26-years old (at the point of application)
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder with minimum CGPA of 3.0
  • Unemployed for a period between six (6) to twelve (12) months upon graduation
